Matthew Gordon Clark

Director, UK Mezzanine

Matthew Gordon Clark joined European Capital in 2005 as a Director in the London office. He joins the firm from Mezzanine Management U.K., where he was a Director focusing on U.K. and European investments. Deal responsibilities included origination and structuring of new investments, and management and exit of portfolio companies. He has served as a non-executive director on the Boards of a number of mezzanine and equity portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Mezzanine Management in 2000, Matthew worked for the acquisition finance team at NM Rothschild & Sons, having previously completed a 6 year commission in the British Army.
