Julien Darsy

Associate Director, Financial Analysis and Compliance Team

Julien joined European Capital in March 2006 as manager of financial due diligence, valuation and portfolio monitoring (FACT group) for the Paris office. He now coordinates both London and Paris FACT teams. Julien has about 15 years of diversified international financial experience in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, highly leveraged companies, due diligence, valuations, accounting and controlling.

Julien started his career in Germany where he worked three years as financial controller of the Redcats group’s German subsidiaries. He worked six years in the Transaction Services department of KPMG, first in Germany and then in Paris. At KPMG, Julien led both vendor and buy-side due diligence reviews and provided accounting assistance on several major cross-border deals in Europe and the U.S., including the buyout of Editis by the fund Wendel and the sale of Sarah Lee Europe.

Julien graduated from Edhec Business School.

Julien serves on the Board of Directors of Hejenion (Solfog).
